INTRODUCING MICHAEL 

Michael and his wonderful wife, Deanna moved to Maricopa in May of 2006 with their 2 children, Michael Jr, age 12 and Morgan Leigh, age 13 shortly after their arrival from North Carolina. Michael, the son of a retired U.S Air Force General, and Deanna, the daughter of a retired Phoenix homebuilder and developer, credit  their attributes to their unwavering faith in God and the strong family values that were instilled in them.

Michael had a distinquished  career in the Fire Protection and Safety Industry in Northern Florida where his skills in strategic planning and coordination not only helped to set the standard in the industry but also were instrumental in raising Fire Safety Awareness in the community. In additon, and perhaps more importantly, he has been a long time advocate and designer of swimming pool alarm systems designed to protect our children from the senseless drownings that occur every year (a law was recently passed in Florida requiring such systems on all swimming pools). Michael holds a Real Estate Brokers License and 2 different Insurance Licenses in North Carolina and plans to acquire those licenses in Arizona as well. In Florida, Michael joined the fight in his county requiring properties to be reevaluated no more than every 4 years to ensure every landowner was paying their fair share of the property taxes. This included becoming an evaluator for the County Property Appraisors office. Michaels' background also includes serving as an estimator and project manager for a Florida-based General Contractor bidding on and receiving several large contracts on  both the private and federal level. With one of his largest projects being the installation of force protection equipment on Eglin AFB, Florida, the largest Air Force base in the country.  

Michael does not come from a background in politics, instead comes from a background  in political action and fighting for what he believes in.

Upon arrival in Arizona, Michael accepted the position of Convention Planner for one of the top Exposition companies in the country. Again through planning and coordination, Michael aides his clients by showcasing their skills and products in the community further enabling  their growth and development in commerce. The ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of todays society is just one of Michaels' skills that lead to his professional success.

His wife, Deanna, who recently retired as a Business Consultant from her own firm as well as being a church pastor and published Christian author, continues to work with a select few clients from her past as well as being pro-active with groups such as Aspergers Parents Network (Aspergers is a level of Autism which their daughter, Morgan was diagnosed with several years ago) and is also currently working on authoring a Sunday School book for young adults in addition to being a newly-designated, stay-at-home mom.

Michael is a caring and patient person with the gift to listen and a genuine interest in  the needs of those around him. The drive to perform in a way that will directly address those needs, makes him a vital asset. Michael knows without question that what is good for the community is good for his own family as well.
